[May 19, 2018] IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad (Discord)

It's time for our first flight sim event.

It will be on the 19th May at 16:00 EST

The game we will be using is IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad, the expansions Battle of Moscow or Battle of Kuban can also be used as they are compatible with each other. https://il2sturmovik.com/

I'm hoping that they will have a sale for the game around 9th May as that is when Russia celebrates Victory Day and the devs behind IL-2 are based in Russia.

All you need in order to participate is that you own the game. It's recommended that you have a joystick but not required. The game does allow for using the mouse to fly. I don't know how well it works but it's better then not flying at all.

For those that would like to participate but don't want to fly. Some of us can fly as bombers allowing for you to act as gunners. The game also have tanks that are driveable.

 

So, the sale didn't happen quite as i had hoped. What ended up happening was that they sent out a 40% Off Promo code. The codes were sent out to any user that have an IL-2 account.

The code is good for BoS, BoM, several collector planes and the campaigns. It's valid until the 20th May.

If there is anyone interested in the game, they can get my code. I already own all of the content and have no use of it. If you want it send me a PM either here on our forums or over Discord. Since i only have one it will be first come, first served.
