    I seem to very vaguely recall this as well. I don't think we ever got much traction with it just because we all jumped into the close Beta for MWO soon after and never looked back. Those were the very early honeymoon days of MWO.

    It was the 1st RR that we used to play with. They did a number of mech packs with more table armor levels and classic mechs built from other chassis when they weren't in the game.

    Tried the HD version and can't get it to run. Launches in 800x600 and the config won't hold my resolution. Get a hardware compatability errror and it shuts down. May try the non HD version.

    downloading and installing

    for what it is worth, i generally do better in mw4 than MWLL or MWO, so I am looking forward to trying this again

    After deleting the HD version and installing the non HD version Magnus and I along with the guys on the MW4 discord figured out all that was needed was to run it in win7 compatibility mode and I added admin mode just in case. Works fine now except I can't see any servers. Probably a port forwarding issue. I'm going to re-install the HD version just to see if the graphics are actually any better.

    I'm not even sure what they were marketing Heavy Gear as. I think they were doing as arena combat (well the way MWO is). Which is not the way to do heavy gear. Especially since in that universe gears are the backup to everything else. Not the main focus like battlemechs are. Tanks are still the main combat vehicle in heavy gear.
