Mission 10a - 7/24 @ 8:00pm EST

1. What is it? Rescue Mission - rescuing Skwisgaar and Balldangles.
2. When is it happening? 7/24 at 8pm EST (may be pushed to 10 pm EST)
3. What Skjaldborg forces are needed to run it? Gamma/Phi/Omega Lance
4. What OpFor/NPCs are needed? Still unknown. Others are welcome to show to watch, may be able to participate as long as those who haven't dropped yet for this "cycle" get in.
5. Do we need to advance the days in the Campaign save? Nope, it is occurring directly after Mission 10.

I'll update the first post with information as we learn more.

 

In regards to repairs, I think we will wait on handling those until after Mission 11. Repairs got a bit screwed up because some of the .mul files were not recoverable. My ShaddyHack should be missing a PPC from a left torso breach and Val's Crab should also have a rear center torso breach. Technically, both should be easy to patch, but I'm inclined to have Alpha sit out of the last mission so that we aren't getting preference for earning XP. I think the simplest option would be to give Beta priority for mission 11 and then let anyone else drop as an NPC for some bonus XP. I thought I would hold off on advancing the day until after Delta had submitted .mul files and mission 11 had been completed. The rescue mission should be happening tonight with Gamma/Phi/Omega Lance. I heard around 8ish or 10 pm EST.

Dihm, when will you be available? Can I walk you through it in regards to the .mul files. I could do it myself, but I want to show you guys how to use MekHQ

Also remember, we still have to do event rolls for everyone since last Sunday.

This thread is just to try to get the potentially multiple lances together and organized, and figure out when and where everything is happening. Give it more visibility and give us a chance to have multi-lance deployments.

It sounds like there's a Mission 12 going on on Friday too? Should I go ahead and create that thread?

Er... you mean, how to load .mul files? Yeah, I totally know how to do that already. I'm comfortable loading them all for my lance (or anyone else's for that matter) and the salvage and adjusting mechs as needed based on damage taken but not recorded.

 

I think it would be better to consider the rescue mission a "side mission"; "Mission 10a" so to speak. Mission 11 will be the attack on the pirate production facility on Friday.

Some of our lances have yet to drop so I would really like to make them a priority, but anyone is welcome to join if we have room. We will aim for 8pm EST tonight, but we may push it back to 10pm as more info becomes available (I would rather not leave people out).

 

Okay, changed this to 10a, adjusted the first post according to new info. Making a Mission 11 thread now.

 

I guess we will see how many show up around 7 to 8. If we get enough we will just roll with it. Sorry to leave you behind Stynnes. I'm just worried if we wait to late no one will be able to go. I will be sure to fit you in for something this week so you don't miss out on the action (and XP).

We also have a bunch of new players joining soon so there may be opportunities there for a simple patrol mission.
