Mission 11 - 7/27 @ 8pm GMT (2pm EST)

1. What is it? Pirate Production Facility attack
2. When is it happening? 7/27 meet at 8pm GMT (2pm EST), drop at 9pm GMT (3pm EST)
3. What Skjaldborg forces are needed to run it? Beta and anyone who hasn't dropped yet this cycle
4. What OpFor/NPCs are needed? Additional participants will be NPCs (if there is room), and capped at 2XP.
5. Do we need to advance the days in the Campaign save? Day will not advance until after this mission takes place

NOTE: If you need to do any repairs before this mission, make certain that you move your mechs to "Transport Bay". DO NOT ADVANCE THE DAY.

I'll update the first post with information as we learn more.

 

And remember, lance leaders (or people approved by your lance leader) should be the only ones repairing and updating campaign data. Only campaign saves from the admin folder in dropbox will be used. If you don't know how to do any of this, GET HELP from one of the Admin.

 

So, who are our forces for this mission? Whoever can make the time and has a functional mech?

 

Primary force is Beta Lance and anyone who hasn't dropped yet for this week. Anyone else may drop as an NPC if there is room, but XP will be capped at 2XP for them.

Yeah, I can be available Friday afternoon/evening/night/into the dawn of Saturday.

Just need to know what time to slap on this puppy.

 

Remember that mission 11 is primarily Beta's drop as they graciously opted out of their's last Sunday when things were more chaotic. If there is room for others, people who have not dropped yet will get priority. Anyone dropping not as Beta lance will get experience for their character, but remember it will stay capped at 2 XP. At the maximum there will only be room for ~8 players... possibly a few more if we go with player controlled OpFor. If Beta wants things to go quickly however, we might need to slim the size down.

Also, no one has done event rolls for this week. Everyone still needs to do that. That means the potential for such awards as extra XP, extra Edge, cool loot, or even the fabled Quirk for your personal ride. There is also the chance to get roughed up by some thugs in an alleyway (Stynnes) or binge drink your way into another timezone. Who can tell for certain. Show up Friday and see what fate the die has in store for you.

 

Beta! David! What's the decision on time for tomorrow?

 

I can't remember now although I swear I saw it in one of the threads here. I *think* they said 8pm GMT (2pm EST i believe), but I cannot be positive. Either way, I will most likely be on hours before then assuming I'm not bothered by family or work.

The way things have been going, I would really like to START at 2pm EST. That means everyone who is on the drop (or wants to be) needs to show up at least an hour early. Beta lance is pretty much all ready to go, but some of you have "things" that need finalizing. For example: David, you have 4 Abilities currently. That shit ain't right. I seem to recall we changed those, but now I don't know which two you want and which two you don't. They are all 8 XP each so it was a simple trade, but I would like to hear from you before I fix it.

 

Well, I'll put that time in till they tell me otherwise.

 

Just talk to David; Mission 11 is on for tomorrow (Friday). Meet on TS at 8pm GMT (2pm EST). Drop at 9pm *crossing fingers*. All of Beta should be there. They will need at least one mechwarrior for a full lance. Beyond that, no promises you will get in (although we will try), but everyone who can show up should so we can get you updated for event rolls and all those goodies i mentioned before.
