Apparently the only way I can find to get access to the mod editor pack is to sign up for Epic. Does anyone already have this and be willing to help me put in a mod which would allow us to use our logo in game? I found a mod which adds in the logos from Battletech and I have the ability to make images that will work in that game, so theoretically we should be able to use the same mod to add in our logo, even if it comes down to just replacing an existing asset.
i used to before my harddrive got wiped. i would have to reinstall that all now. good news that if you do get it, i have some passing knowledge of how to use it. i dabbled in mod creation with it early after its release.
I really only want to add the logo, I'm not willing to forswear my anti-epic stance just for that. If someone knows an alternate method by which to obtain this software I'm happy to skirt the issue.
hmmm.. i seem to recall we imported the logo at some point in an earlier version, but it might have been for BattleTech. to be fair, there is a guy doing unit logos for the community. I can try to reach out to him
What would be really awesome would be a mod that you could add an image to a folder and it'd apply it to the game. I'm not sure it can be done that way, but it can be done that way on Battletech.
