I am buying 3 new monitors to set up and give my current monitor to my son for his new setup.

I am having some trouble figuring out what monitor to get though, so any suggestions would be appreciated. I am looking for a 24 inch 1080p, does not have to be fancy but I would like to at least have HDMI on it. I want something that is going to have a fast response as this is going to be primarily for gaming. I am looking to spend less then $150, less is better.

These are the monitors I am looking at currently:

    BenQ GL2460HM - 129.00

    Acer G7 Series G247HL bid - 119.00

    Acer H6 Series H236HLbid - 129.99

    ASUS VS Series VS247H-P - 159.99 (139 after rebate)

    Asus VH238H - 159.99 (139 after rebate)

I am leaning towards the BenQ, because of the price. I am a little wary of the Acer's from some quality issue reviews I have read, but that H6 has almost no bezel so that makes in very interesting. I currently have an Asus monitor, and have had good luck with it for several years. So it definately makes the Asus' stand out.

Are there any other suggestions? Any other monitors I should be looking at?

I did look at some 27 inch monitors that were pretty decent.. but I am not sure I want to spend the extra money.

This one stuck out in particular:

    BenQ GL2760H - 179.99

I just convinced my job to buy new a27" benq monitor, should arrive in as few days. Don't have the exact model number on hand but I can give you a run down when I get it, it was right around $200

I have an Asus VH238H. I haven't had any issues with it, but nothing stellar. It's a good bang for the buck.

I think I am gonna go with the BenQ. It is cheap, it gets pretty good reviews and it has been tested for imput lag and is fast as any other high end monitor. So unless I can find some compelling reason not to, I am gonna order the BenQ before the 10th... that is when the instant $20 off runs out.

personally my next monitor will be an LG 3d because, they're the only group using polarized 3d instead of active shutter.
