Looks really cool, I hope they make something interesting out of it. There isn't much info except the trailer yet.
"Ambitious" is certainly a word one could use to describe this. However, if they can pull it off (and I stress IF), this could be one hell of an awesome game.
^ You'd like http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/mo...yrim-a-completely-different-game-and-/100902/ ? (I can't get it working )
IF I liked skyrim, I'd probally like some of those changes, but i'm not the one who plays it the most in my house. I got burnt out in the early stages of that game due to the exploitability of the combat, never really liked the oops low on health, pause, apple/eat to regain health, ok go!
I must be missing something or not getting it. Nothing from the trailor makes me excited, quite frankly it looks abit shit.
what I gathered from the article. -single player -same procedural world as everyone else. You find a planet, it's the same planet everyone else would see -if you discover something it's put on everyone's "galactic map" as discovered by you -killing a bird/mining some ore won't change other peoples game but making a type of bird go extinct or depleting a resource will -can't die but you can lose everything -exploration and discovery focused -no skybox
It looks awesome, but if it is single player I am out. That type of game NEEDS multiplayer imho. Being in that type of world by yourself just sounds boring.
I imagine a few players on a dedicated server might be possible with this game, but massive multiplayer isn't gonna happen I think.
