The stories are greatly exaggerated; just had to go out of town on business. I have another exam tomorrow (Monday). Will be available more this week after that.
UPDATE In case anyone was wondering (and I know you have), there is a reason I've been laying low with the campaign. Frankly, there are too damn many of you bastards to keep up with! I have been purposefully allowing it to idle to see who is still paying attention (also, I've just been very busy). This has been the largest campaign I have ever ran and while everyone has been great, the campaign fun, and I appreciate all the positive support, in the future I think it will be wise to limit campaigns to a max of 12 active members with 4 reserve members. Also, tracking OpFor numbers/repairs is cool to see, but is a HUGE pain in the ass. After the Ronin campaign, I think we will go back to random enemy encounters for awhile... with maybe a few surprises thrown in. That said, nothing stopping us from running multiple campaigns SIMULTANEOUSLY, but that is going to require people to GM besides me. Good news is that everyone is still invited to conclude the 3048 Ronin campaign... starting tomorrow!
Still around and still wanting to finish the Ronin campaign (almost there). Just dealing with school/family/holidays (you know the drill). Holla if ya'll need me!
Friday or Sunday should be good for me (I assume earlier than later since you guys are GMT?). What happened to Killbox and Barbie? It would be preferable if we have more than just yourself dropping. @Dihm: Yes, I believe so.
Well add me to the list of people without a (good) computer. Mine just decided to crap out on me today. Will try to get it running again asap.
Fixed and working again! In hindsight, I think I spoke a little too soon. The problem was VERY real, but the solution was far less complicated than I feared. I suspected it was something to do with my video card and after some testing, I believe it was my computer REALLY didn't like whatever recent changes that had been made to the driver when I installed Planetside 2. Doing a fresh install of the video card fixed the problem. All that said, despite the amazing distraction that is PS2, I am still hoping to finish the campaign this week (possibly carrying into the next). People just need to post times and let me know.
We have the 2 college peeps in Phi and they are a bit swamped with Finals and papers so not sure what to do about scheduling but I shall see if they have any free time.
Okay, we're all repaired up (Clint is missing a medium laser... but we don't need the Clint. ) I spent 434,780 C-Bills, of the 1,000,000 C-Bills our Lance has gathered the past two missions.
I am getting that itch again. Although we had planned to, Alpha and Beta never did do their drops for the last week of the campaign. There is still time. I will be rallying Alpha, but it is up to Beta to organize themselves (and let me know when you want to drop). I am currently still infested with that pest known as "family", but they are suppose to leave tomorrow. With any luck, we can squeeze in a drop or two this weekend. Regardless, after this weekend I am very much inclined to call the Ronin campaign done for good. Will also try to do a nice and pretty recap for everyone to see what we got out of it.
