not stealing ghizmo's thread, looking for tablet/phone that can run steam games.

I was about to ask on his thread, what type of tablet's can also work as a phone, but then I caught my self, why not just make my own thread... so I'm looking for something about 500 dollars ish.. that can run steam games, work as a phone, and run apps like hearthstone when it comes to that device, auction houses for games like wow, or star citizen chat app's and stuff. I would need it to be able to fit into a pocket, to keep with me at work, or a small purse.

Fyi yes I'm lazy, while I could do my own searches, I don't know exactly what I'm looking for so I'm just taking suggestions

 

umm, I was thinking about that, I don't know if Skype would count, I am thinking something that can send and receive calls, like a cellphone, but Skype can do that so umm,... ok maybe GPS, is what I mean. I think 4g, something I can use from anywhere.

 

sadly, far as I'm aware none of the tablet developers have picked up the envelope to throw in a cell receiver in the tablet so it can be both a tablet and a phone... I have no idea why this is, besides the fact that some people might feel rediculous talking to a tablet sized phone, but honestly plug in a f-ing headset and what makes it any different from any other smart phone? (or blue tooth device, or USB device... etc...) but no, far as I'm aware there aren't any cell functional tablets on the market.

For steam games you need a legit tablet since Android nor Iphone can run it, leaving you with things that can be run on legit Windows.

It doesn't cover your fit in a pocket or small approach, but the Surface 1 Pro tablet would run Steam apps, etc and basically anyhting else regular Windows would. Phone would have to be covered by wifi/skype/VOIP stuff. The first gen is around $4-500 right now, the second gen is $800. Main difference is honestly battery life, but again its a fairly heavy tablet.
