    It is safe to say that 2020 has been a tough year for just about everyone. Before the holiday season begins in earnest, we should have our LAST MEETING for 2020! This one is going to be a special one with a very "special guest"!

    Current Recommended games
    • Warthunder has been made easier to get into if you're interested
      • Persistent campaign planned for early 2021
    • MW5 is coming out December 10th on Steam, with some events planned:
      • Multiplayer Tournament planned for December
      • Persistent campaign planned to start in January
    • Looking for more people for Planetside 2
    • Dual Universe is looking promising; still in alpha; added to Watchlist
      • Currently about 423k players
      • Raya will post a thread for folks interested
    • Elite Dangerous Horizon premium DLC is now included for free with base game
      • "space legs" FPS update is releasing early 2021
    • Looking for people interested in playing a game of Stellaris with the new updates.
      • NOT "OFFICIAL" - just an informal small-group thing for those that want to do it
    • Genshin Impact is fun, free and has Co-op multiplayer

    Minor note on Genshin Impact. It does have multi-player functionality, up to four player co-op.

    I mention this in brief during the meeting. the multiplayer stuff is pretty bare bones at the moment. A few simple one room farming dungeons and part of the new event. I didn't want to try to pimp the game as multiplayer since the functionality is based on a timed currency. This is a mobile game after all so some of the mechanics transfer like the "get X every 5 minutes to spend of missions". I still think the game is very solid for a FTP game and the gacha while annoying does not really lock anything behind the "i pulled shit" wall. Even the basest shit toon (Amber) is still useful for various things, not just her inability to kill things.
