    October blew by so fast we didn't have time for a monthly meeting! Our normal policy is to suspend monthly meetings and "most" other events during the holiday season so that our members can focus on spending time with friends and family. But before we can do that, we need to have our "year in review" meeting for 2019! We have a ton to discuss regarding this holiday season as well as plans for 2020. I cannot stress enough this will be an important meeting. Please join us if you can. If you can't, please post any concerns, questions, or suggestions below. We want good feedback so we can continue to meet the needs of this community!

    A list of our accomplishments and efforts for the past year.
    • Standardized policy for officers and membership for ALL organized games.
    • Updated ALL ribbons and medals to be "community focused" and easier to use across multiple games:

    • Improved officer accountability and encouraging active participation among officers.
    • Ended the policy of officially promoting Early Access games to combat "game fatigue".
    • Promoted positive interaction within the community (MWO, MW5, Star Citizen, etc.)
    • Explored options in games that promote "community interaction" (Space Engineers, Tabletop Simulator, Planetside, etc.)
    • Improved membership retention and recruitment.
    • Continued to improve on our list of Recommended Games:

    • For a few brief moments, witnessed the majestic Dihmalope prance around in all his inebriated glory.

    • Review official policies & CoC for any errors.
    • Clean up forums and archive any remaining outdated info.
    • Review and update Berserker list.
    • Review current officer participation and ways to improve where needed.
    • Establish a "pick up and play" game we can all play together with minimal resistance.

    2019 Review
    • Recommended Game List
    • FAQ is pretty good but getting outdated. Cleaning this up is an admin goal for the near future.
    • We're going to avoid organizing for early access games until they are viable. It's fine (and encouraged) if you want to advocate for these games, but they won't be officially recommended. If enough of us are interested they will go on our watchlist.
    • Please avoid taboo topics in the Mead Hall, and in other channels make sure everybody is comfortable with the topic. Keep in mind the first and most important rule of our CoC.

    Holiday Schedule
    • As always, we're planning on folks being busy during the holidays, but for those who can join us our schedule remains as follows:

    MW
    • MWO is kind of petering out, but Living Legends is still strong and MW5 is on the horizon

    WoW
    • Up to 143 members, including alts
    • Raiding has begun in conjunction with Classic Toxicity and PIRATES
    • The first Phase 1 boss is down, working on the second
    • Phase 2 starts on Tuesday, including the PvP honor point system and two new world bosses

    Strategy Night
    • Looking for more players

    Party Game Happy Hour
    • Alexia runs board games in TTS every two weeks on Sa

    Shieldwall Days
    • Currently playing Running with Rifles, Transformice
    • Looking into playing Planetside II but need to gauge interest
    • Also looking to try Renegade X
    • Lots of us have Elite Dangerous and have been having fun with it recently
