so, fun as this pick random colors at random thing has been, I figure it makes some obtuse kinda sense that we could create some kind of forum related topic in which to discuss the color we would as a clan like to research next, and that way when it comes time for the research to be changed, whoever spots it first can reference said discussion to determine which color should be next. Just a thought.
There's a reason why I've been going through it like I have. Simply: we made no progress for months since it was set to a rare spawn and as such we're aiming at the low hanging fruit. The easy ones that can be gathered by normal game play. That said, once we're through the easy ones, I see no problem with putting it to discussion.
Agreed. Nobody wants to grind johnny-comes-lately Zanuka for dat pimp purple. Trust me, I "farmed" it before it was changed.
I wouldn't mind doing it, if we were in fact working towards doing it. Farming Zanuka would be much easier if multiple people were making an effort to do so.
Three colors: Shit brown - venom green - bitch blue. And what each color symbolizes: Shit brown symbolizes our strong roots and terra firma upon which our community is built upon. Venon green symbolizes the nature that nourishes us with ham and mead that wouldn't be without bees. Bitch blue symbolizes oceans that vikings of old traversed, skies from which our dropships descend and the cold steel we wield. *not a serious proposition
True. But, Zanuka can troll you just simply by not showing up even if you have the mark for unreasonable times. Same as with Stalker and Gestapo 3. Also, it's possible that Zanuka will not drop the pigment when defeated. And forget Nekros; They made it so that you can't Desecrate assassin's. In a group it could be bearable though. You just need to play invasions and then run worthwhile Corpus missions.
that's what I mean, as an individual he can be a bitch, but if we had 25-30 people each trying, it wouldn't take very long. They're supposed to have a 100% drop of pigments, but I suppose that's DE for ya.
The main issue is that we are a storm clan with under 10 active players. We are doing over 3x the work we should. Assuming we should have stayed as Shadow clan. The bottom line is that we have about 5 active WF-fans and rest are just on-off players. This causes the unfortunate effect of under 10 players doing the work of 100 players (Storm clan). I saw this coming when we skipped to Storm clan territory. Honestly, should have stayed as Shadow clan despite requiring limiting who can join. In short: We over-extended and didn't see the more or less obvious decline in activity coming. And 'cause I respect honesty I'm gonna say this right here: I was considering starting my own private clan a while ago and keeping it small for several practical reasons. I have kept the idea on the back of my head for the moment, so don't start a witch-hunt. And if this bothers you greatly, just contact me.
