That's game development in a nutshell! We just can't put that into the job offer so we google 'hot' buzzwords, the more buzzwords the better. Actually, internet is our global collective consciousness that has transcended what mankind is. That telepathic access to whole world's collective knowledge thing - we have it. We just haven't integrated it with our biology - yet! Couple of decades and you can just jump into a helicopter and you can choose from information packets that will allow you without any previous knowledge to run through pre-flight checks and simple tricks for basic flight. Accessing this information in compact and easy format directly to your mind while engaged in an activity is what I'm talking about. As such, it is a skill to know what is worth memorizing - it is often better to memorize structures that will make you faster to find information in an information rich environment than to memorize "herring is a fish, herring is a fish,.." We are living in proto-scifi-future!
I think the next step is for everyone to get smartglasses (perscription or not) that are linked to smartphone and then from there it will be implants so everyone is linked to the internet and the information is either a holoprojection on your retina or you just "know" the information. verious companies are already making those smartglasses (not the stupid google glass type with an attachment thing on the glasses) but where there is a microprojector thing in the glass or the frame and they project onto the glass or your retina. heres a kickstarter for one (far surpassed their goal. $50,000 goal and they are over 2 million). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vue/vue-your-everyday-smart-glasses another one where they are more expensive but they also do more (I think). https://www.laforgeoptical.com/ The Vue ones arn't to bad price wise. Not too much more than a normal pair of glasses. You can get them as sunglasses as well.
The 'Predator helmet' isn't a bad idea either, imho. - Protection for eyes (physical and light) - Enhanced senses (electromagnetic, sound, scent) and 360 degree vision - Hearing protection - Air filtration - Far more alternatives than for glasses etc. (integrated/external battery etc.) - Physical protection for whole head - Superior comfort and utility (eg. doesn't fly off your head) - Systems themselves are better protected and more resistant to elements - Faraday cage for head, can be extended to whole body - Integrated and large antennae etc. In fact I think I'd rather pick a power armor over implants, a complete sealed life support system. Upgrades would include implanting a brain interface on your body that can be directly hooked to the helmet and optional armor/suit.
They are just normal glasses..... They are just wording things in ways that sound like features... Glasses that are open ear design.... You can listen to music with them... Doesn't mean they play music just that you can if you want to... Listen to music while wearing them... People getting taken for
the vue yeah that's what it sounds like. To me the laforge ones are actual smartglasses because they do actual projection type shit. As in any navigation stuff from your phone is shown on the glasses not just hearing the directions. I think the vue are a poor man's smartglasses. because they are just regular frames with a few things to link to your phone but as far as I can tell there is no screen in them.
How do most A-10 Warthog pilots feel about their plane and mission? I know the Air Force higher ups want to unload CAS missions, yet don’t want to give up fixed-wing aircraft territory to the Army. I also know the mechanics hate it, and that some pilots would rather fly the faster, sexier tactical planes that look cool in the movies. Lynn Taylor, A-10 Pilot, Joint Firepower Course Instructor, Air Liaison Officer, USAF Officer 1995-2005 Written Feb 9 · worked at Aviation, Pat Dernec, Private pilot, SEL rating, 450 hours in Cessna 152/172, Mooney M20, MiG-21, and Takeo Eda All through high school, and then all through pilot training, I wanted to fly the F-16. Agile, multirole, and downright sexy, the Viper was what I set my sights on. Then assignment night came, and I walked away with the A-10. ......
