My computer decide to break in multiple places apparently, maybe the mobo broke and shorted out a bunch of shit, who knows.

    Quick history:
First started getting no signal to my monitor, which devolved into the system not posting. Power would flick on, then off. Tried doing all the cables, checking seating on the cards, etc. Tried new PSU, same results. Starting stripping parts, when I got down to mobo/cpu/RAM it would complain about RAM being broken. Ok, took out all but 1 stick and moved it around, repeated with other stick. Did not fix anything. For fun put GPU back in, system utterly dead. Took it out, RAM triple beep on boot. At this point I'm thinking it'd be really weird if my GPU and my RAM died on the same.

Got a used replacement mobo. Plugged it in with CPU / RAM. 3 beeps. FUUUUUCK. Play around with the RAM sticks and other shit for about 4 hours. In certain combos I get it to power but not beep at all. Some comboes I get 3 triple beeps. huh... finally think to plug the onboard graphics input into my monitor. Holy fuck when it wasn't beeping it was actually booting. Thanks for the informative boot beep (sarcasm).

After I figured that out I realize I DO have 1 bad RAM stick. Fine, stick to the one that functions, Windows is booting and everything is great. Awesome.

Plug in my GPU. System is dead. No power (yes I have the GPU power plugged in). WTF. Try other PCI slot. Same result. As this happened with my old PSU and the old mobo, I'm going to go ahead and assume the GPU is also fried. It gives me a tiny red blink of a light when I try to power (XFX RX 580).

So thats where I'm at today. RMA'ing a memory stick and the graphics card.

Normally it's just one thing that breaks not multiple.

Only things I know that cause multiple accounts of damage is a electrical surge or a vacuum.

This is because everything inside draws power not supplies it. Besides the power supply of course. A ram or gpu or whatever when it breaks just stops functioning properly because the circuit for it to operate correctly becomes incomplete through either a circuit or chip frying.

The fact you have multiple at the same time tells me way to much electrical flow was going on inside which is why you have damaged across multiple parts and not one.

Yea, weird thing is that it was running for years with no issues. I did find a baby gecko dead on my mobo, so at this point I'm suspecting its a culprit. Not sure where it found a small enough a hole to get in.

Well my RAM and graphics card are both being successfully RMA'ed, but the goddamn graphics card is taking 2 weeks to ship back. Cheap mofos.
