Star Citizen Operation Pitchfork

Greetings, I'm Benjamin_the_Rogue! I'm one of the lead volunteers of Operation Pitchfork. I've been working on hosting a new community event that we're planning on launching on the 26th. We've been flying organized patrols around Port Olisar the last month or so, so now we'd like to invite streamers for twice a month events! I noticed we had one of your members, Fluffy_Pink_Bunny, flying with us a couple of times already, so I thought I would stop by and offer an invite to what I can only assume is an organization full of handsome and charming individuals.

So, what say you? Are you interested in spending a Saturday with us flying around participating in fun-loving community hijinks?

Glad to meat you, Benjamin_the_Rogue! I'm Benjamin the Rogue, the chief diplomat here at the Skjaldborg! I think we may have talked previously. I have some familiarity with that organization. I like what they do. I think I can safely say most of the Borg here also like what Operation Pitchfork is planning, and would like to support any future community events you may be planning. I'll have to get on the horn with higher ups to see how many of us can make it on the 26th. We'll probably have to have a discussion about it, since I know we've got some streamers here with us. They might be willing to do some streaming of their own for this. I'll get back to you on this.

 

That's great to hear! If you or any of the members of your organization are planning on participating, we've got a page on the OPPF forum where we're planning it right now. I'll link that below. Everything is pretty tentative right now on the details other than "show up and play together on a Saturday" because this is the first event out of many that we're planning. What the WHAT WHAT!? who, no nobody wants to do pitchfork! Saturday!? blah I work... play together, what do youthink we are a community that... plays games?! I don't like games, they always lead to somebody being hurt... blah...

 

People probably just haven't gotten around to seeing it yet. Even if a lot of us miss this one, there's going to be two next month, so there'll be a lot more forewarning. Probably the 9th and the 23rd.

 

Trev hit me up after 6:30 pst, and i'll go around with you, do some arena commander PVE stuff, then show you around the PU

 

I'm going to try to get a replacement mouse, so I can have buttons to push again, sometime this week since I'll be out in Boise. Hopefully I'll be able to find a good headset for comms as well. I'll try to get on a little bit.

 

I can't wait for next month, because we'll have even more time to organize and 2.3 with imaginary Starfarers. Should make these events even more hilarious productive. Too bad we'll have to imagine the Starfarers though, since they're not real.

 

I'm not sure if everyone on this list will be making it yet, but this is what we've got going on with the fliers right now. Should be starting noon EST on Saturday.

We're calling it Joint Ops, it's an Operation Pitchfork started initiative to start getting people in the community flying cooperatively together.
