I'm still over heating a little bit.... not as bad as I was the last couple of weeks. I cleaned out all the dust bunnies, and installed MSI afterburner to speed up the fans. I plan on cutting out a side of the case and add another fan. Its mainly the gpu, and motherboard that over heat into the 70*c

What kind of graphics card are you running? If its an NVIDIA w the big plastic housing you may want to pull that apart (make sure to get some new thermal paste) and clean that out as well. Its amazing how much crap gets lodged in there.

ok I took apart the card and cleaned it out real good. Also been trying different things out. Today I was playing 4 different videos on youtube, and noticed everything started getting choppy like when playing MWO. I looked at the temps on my computer and this is what it showed CPU-27*C Mainboard-75*C GPU-45-50*C Now to figure out why the mainboard is overheating yay!!! I cleaned it pretty good

I don't know anything about your system, but I will through out some general suggestions. Check your fans. More specifically the direction the flows. I've seen a problem like your describing because the guy had 4 fans all drawing air INTO the tower. Swapping his highest fans around so they blew out helped ALOT. After that I'd look at the cpu voltage. You could be oc'ing your cpu or northbridge. Without knowing anything about your computer though can't help to much.

sorry guys I forgot to post up that my overheating woes are gone. The small little fan on the South Bridge was clogged with dust. Dust was inside the heat sinks as well. Cleaned it up real good and works like a charm!!!

I've got 3 fans, a 200mm intake in the bottom front, 120mm exhaust in the top rear, and 120mm exhaust at the top. Works great for me. The hottest I ever get is about 70 deg C in my graphics card.

Now my laptop... that thing got up to about 100 deg C playing MWO o_0
