I wish they hadn't had to cut the vid off so early. There was some good stuff in there. I liked how everybody expressed their views on f2p. These 3 seem to have really focused on "pay for convenience" as opposed to "pay for advantage stuff". The dude from Tribes seems really cool. First time I've heard anything from him directly.
Most people don't seem to care about it, few seem to actually bother using it. The loud mouths on the forums who kept screaming about it got distracted by the 3rd person talk and went on to spread bile in those threads instead. Pretty much.
the coolant flush is in, but I've not touched it nor have I seen anyone else use it so I'm guessing not so well for russ
Some people use it, but it's not getting the revenue that they've expected, I'm sure. Spectating those that still live after me has about 1/10 using it. Or just having it equipped. I've used it a few times myself... but only because I was in my 4P and right in the middle of a firefight. Didn't have the time to wait for the heat sinks to sink it all. It truly is just a "Oh Shit" button. I think the main thing with this, is most people that are currently playing have gotten used to good heat management and heat-efficient builds.
I cannot believe Red 5 was not involved with this panel. They had one of the largest presences at Pax 2012 and I imagine it is no different this year.
