definite promise, though its very obviously still in alpha. Can't get units to build the damn naval factory, and there are serious pathing issues.
I wasn't complaining about PA's problems, just commenting on one's I had noticed. Because it's an alpha.
I bought it last night and played a bit. The AI seems a bit overzealous. Both commanders from the AI team rushed us almost immediately. Tzeentch and I were playing and he managed to take them both out with Artillery and they wen nuclear and took out his base. We still won, as my commander was still alive.
Yeah, I'm not sure how much work has been put into the AI yet, I think it was just added fairly recently. I've only tried it in multiplayer so far except for my first ever game but at that point the ai did nothing more than build solar plants in a square .
I have been following TA and its successors and fan projects for a long time. Love the games. The AI system that they are using is very much based of the spring engine TA, the fan made. And is the method most often used in MP competitive games. Build quick and build lots!
