Yeah, you left out some of the details for recreating it: http://www.theskjaldborg.com/index.php?threads/official-player-faction-list-for-stellaris.11667/
Made a change, sorry. Changed from Efficient Bureaucracy to Exalted Priesthood. Nothing else has changed. Name: The Holy Empire of Azar Ship Prefix/Name List: AIS Species name: Azar/Azarian/Azaran Leader: Moz Xiza Leader Title: Grand Priestess Homeworld/System: The Great Ring/Xani Nadih Starting World/System: Shattered Ring Racial Traits Strong Industrious Enduring Non-adaptive Government Ethics: Fanatic Spiritualist Militarist Authority Martial Dictatorship Civics: Warrior Culture Exalted Priesthood
I didn't really enjoy the way my last faction played. There isn't much of a religion system in the game (that I could find), and it pretty much made the concept of my last race (a Holy Empire of religious zealots) fall flat on its face. So I made a new race, The Ul-Tur Multitude. This time, instead of spreading the word of God, I'm spreading a tree. Name: Ul-Tur Multitude Ship Prefix/Name List: SS Species name: Ul-Tur/Ul-Tur/Ul-Turan Leader: One Leader Title: Speaker Homeworld/System: Uraya/Uri'dath Starting World/System: Tropical/Random Origin: Tree of Life Racial Traits Hive Minded Docile Communal Adaptive Fleeting Slow Breeders Government Ethics: Gestalt Consciousness Authority Collective Consciousness Civics: Subsumed Will Ascetic
I did a thing. Not sure how well it will work, if at all. Name: Phyrexia Ship Prefix/Name List: PSS Species name: Phyrexia/Phyrexian/Phyrexian Leader: Gix Leader Title: Demon Homeworld/System: Gamalgoth/Phyrexia Starting World/System: Relic World/Random Origin: Remnants Racial Traits Machine Durable Mass-Produced Bulky Cyborg Traits Cybernetic Adaptive Strong Quick Learners Repugnant Government Ethics: Gestalt Consciousness Authority Machine Intelligence Civics: Driven Assimilator Warbots
So after fudging around with the new Necroid species these past couple of days, I have settled on this for my Death Cult build. Post-Apocalyptic origin is mostly for flavor, but it does allow you to take Fleeting for basically free. It also gives Tomb World habitability, while not amazing, is still additional planets you can colonize. Oligarchic, Fanatic Spiritualist, and Cutthroat Politics for a 50% Edict cost reduction. This is important because you'll be popping Sacrifice Edicts as soon as they come off CD. Need them to be cheap so they don't drain your influence too much. Authoritarian also gives bonus Influence which helps with this. Rapid Breeders and Nomadic to boost pop growth speed in order to fuel the sacrifices. Name: The Endless Vigil Ship Prefix/Name List: DS Species name: Azanti/Azanti/Azantian Leader: Thon om-Tet Leader Title: Dread Cardinal Homeworld/System: Entropies Ending/Grim Shepherd Starting World/System: Tomb World/Random Origin: Post-Apocolyptic Racial Traits Survivor Rapid Breeders Nomadic Fleeting Government Ethics: Fanatic Spiritualist Authoritarian Authority Oligarchic Civics: Death Cult Cutthroat Politics
