This is an open call to ALL roleplayers out there who want to contribute to Project Prometheus. I want you to submit NPCs similar to the example I will post below. Strict adherence to format is required so that all NPCs mesh seamlessly. I cannot guarantee who will be picked in the final selection, but I am looking for at least 30 characters in total. I'm interested to see what you guys can come up with! Detailed background is less important than detailing their personality and motivations (again, see below). To give you an idea without giving too much away: All of these NPCs will operate as "independent contractors" or "freelancers" and are managed by a "central neutral authority". Thanks to modern technologies of the 33rd century (yep... far future), the traditional "Mechwarrior" has become all but extinct. What remains is the elite of the elite: "Lancers" (the modern day term - short for freelancer). Deadlier, faster, and more advanced than anything you've ever seen before. Maybe if you are lucky enough, one day you can join their ranks. Shall I submit in the NPC Lancers discussion thread? Also, can you tell me more about the Nest ranks? From what I've gathered it's sort of a ranking with 1st being the best down to an unkown number. May I just pick an unused number for now?
yeah, things are developing so rapidly it is hard to keep up. originally, the Lancer thread was suppose to be a semi-official thing, but yeah.. go ahead and throw it in there. you may pick any number not already taken, but be aware that EVERYTHING in that thread is subject to revision as things develop.
I don't care if it isn't even Alpha, if things change I will write a scathing post about broken promises
On that front my submission should probably be ranked lower than he is, I didn't know how many you were going to have so I just went a few spots lower than what was already there.
originally it was going to be 30... but I may reduce it to a more reasonable number of 15-20. SUBJECT TO CHANGE! the rank itself is completely flexible. only the top 6 or so I have any real plans for and those are already posted.
