OFFICIAL Resurrecting the Tabletop Roleplaying Scene

So people have expressed interest in getting some table top gaming back up.
At this time, it seems that Pathfinder will be the system of choice*

Previously, we have operated off of Roll20.net, but there is also interest in using Tabletop Simulator.
We have at least two interested DMs on board, but at this time, we will take all comers.

Please post if you are interested in joining in, what roles (player, DM, etc.) you would like to contribute to, level of experience, and any other pertinent details you think we should know.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE:
Cephy put together a spreadsheet that you can use to put in your information. I`ve taken the liberty of compiling what we have in this thread so far, but feel free to edit your info at your leisure! You can also add games/systems you think we can play, but please dont add too much since there is already a lot (check for yourself).

*I am also familiar with a wackier and weebier system, but it’s also a bit niche, so I’ll leave it at that.

 

I'm trying to collect information so I can pair players with DM's who want to run the same games. Let me know WHAT you want to play and I can start matchmaking

Players: what do you want to play, when do you want to play and how do you want to play?
Dungeon Masters: What do you want to run, when do you want to run and how do you want to run

I think for now it would be best to do one session games until we get a feel for how it's going to work.

Give me the information and I'll see if we can get this off the ground.

I'm willing to DM vanilla 3.5, i think i heard Alexia volunteer to DM just about everything including starwars which should be a blast.

This is the chart so far and I'm willing to maintain it for everyone with a schedule of games people can join.

 

I have DM, enjoy play as well, Pathfinder preferred, played 3.5 and have much material, and d20 modern, also have material for other stuff such as Dresden Files. times for play is somewhat up in the air, but Sunday Monday Tuesday are the only days I have off, work days flip night and day each month so trying to schedule anything is improbable at best.

UPDATE: Organizing a tentative D&D 3.5e pilot campaign to start with (already got a DM on board)
Materials are being gathered and arrangements are being made.

Sourcebooks and character sheets are available here. (IMPORTANT: Please do NOT add, remove, or change anything in the folder itself. Downloading for your personal use should be okay.)
While we work on logistical details, please feel free to come up with characters for yourself* (currently looking to be around level 5)!
A character creation tool is also available that can take you step-by-step through the process.

Saturday Evening being what I can reliably preform. GM or player, whatever is required of me.

This is a kneejerk reaction post on my phone - when I get home I'll dig more into the links/plans/et al.

 

I'm loaded with Pathfinder books. I can possibly DM. I enjoy it, but haven't ever gotten a chance to run an entire campaign. I already play on Saturdays with my group. The only other days I'm busy are Monday & Wednesday. But I'll be out of town by the end of this week for Bonnaroo. Won't be back until the end of June.

 

I am willing to DM most systems, I am highly experienced with 3.5, pathfinder, 5e, and world of darkness. I am willing to play almost any other tabletop and I have done a campaign for fantasy fight star wars system. Also if you guys hate your lives I can try to find that 5e my little pony d20 game and host that XD. Think of your cutie marks LOL... jk... though if I did get ready for mlp in a sort of game of throne's style. I have also played the warhammer fantasy flight games I am willing to try dming one of them too. Dark crusade and Rogue trader were the ones I did.

 

UPDATE: Due to interest, currently looking at D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Dark Heresy.
Potential GMs should expect contact within the week.
I will continue to monitor the spreadsheet, though, so make sure to get your two cents in!

Additionally, I have added a section on the first page to check who has Tabletop Simulator (for potential use as a platform to play on).
Roll20 will probably still be the main system, but more options should not hurt... right?

 

I would be willing to play some board games with Tabletop Simulator.

While i might be interested in some roleplaying game i'm not sure i will have the time for it or even be able to attend any sessions.

 

Shadowrun 5th is a huge improvement over 4th edition and fixes many issues that have existed since early Shadowrun. That would be my recommendation for that system, not 4th.

I don't have time to GM but I could possibly play Wednesday evening or Thursday evening for a few hours each week. I'm mostly interested in Pathfinder out of the systems listed. I am currently playing or GMing in one of two campaigns most Saturdays so that is out. Others want me to run a Shadowrun game locally on Mondays so that is another time sink. That means I can't really GM much and I'd really like to just sit back and play but I have played in and run campaigns in multiple systems including D&D 1-3.5 and 5th, Pathfinder, Various WhiteWolf, GURPS, Champions, Mutants&Masterminds, so if my time frees up I might consider running something for others.

Roll20 works fine, but there are plenty of systems for online play these days that work as well.

 

I'm already using Roll20 with the campaign my old sarge is running. It works pretty well. Especially when the DM has control over the lighting so players can't see the whole map.

I just despise digital dice. Vicious little traitors.
