Each player builds their force of infantry, vehicles, and powerful WarMechs to achieve victory on the battlefield. With high-detail amazing 3D printed resin models, that are already cleaned before they are shipped, assembly is very quick and easy to do. You'll be ready for combat in no time! We want to embrace the next advancements in technology. Instead of having expensive molds created across the world where minis would be mass-produced, we have set up our own infrastructure to produce our miniatures and to distribute them directly to the consumer. This eliminates the middleman and allows us to have a much more flexible production schedule. For nearly a year we have extensively worked with 3D modelers to create the Revelations: Skirmish line of miniatures to allow the Revelations Universe to be experienced in a brand new way. Skirmish is focused on being an easy to set up game played on a 3'x3' map, with the runtime being around 90-120 minutes. Instead of a clunky rules engine, Skirmish was designed to be a streamlined and smooth reactionary game. Players will roll to determine the game type from a chart available in our free PDF rulebook. This will then assist them in deciding who will be the attacker and defender for the mission, objective, deployment, and battlefield environment conditions. After the objective is determined, players will construct their forces with their allotted points using our free list builder located on our website (this should be live by the end of March 2020). Then...it's time to make the ground quake as your forces battle against your opponent's.
Tiers: It was important to us that we offered multiple tiers for players to experience Skirmish in different ways. WarMech Pilot & Training Officer: These are for players looking to sample a squad sized engagement. This includes the essential items to play the game. Captain & Intelligence Officer: Both of these tiers are for those looking to experience the entire Revelations: Skirmish game. Commander & Warlord: Players looking to have an assortment of options on how to customize their force will be excited here. With 20 units for either faction to choose from, a new commander can assemble a company that should match well to their objective.
Partly why I mention it is if they scale well with battletech they might as proxy's for battletech units (more the vehicles and infantry)
36% in 1st 24 hours for a new universe is pretty good. Yes I bought in already. New as in not a previously established universe like battletech or Warhammer. The universe is only a year or 2 old.
