I will be on this weekend to help people finish up character creation and to give advice on backgrounds. If you notice a lack of items on your character, don't worry about it. That can all be sorted out in short order, so I've been placing more weight on finishing backgrounds and actual character creations. Don't worry; I won't send you into battle unarmed.
I'm curious about this, but don't recall ever seeing Rogue Trader mentioned anywhere else other than this forum. We have been discussing it on TS for the past few weeks. You pretty much nailed it. It's 40k in rpg/tabletop form, but without the space marines. There is a separate game for people who want to play as a space marine, but we all decided to go for Rogue Trader instead. Imagine Firefly, just with a crew of tens of thousands instead of nine. And with all the 40k bells and whistles.
Hey guys, I'm gonna have to drop on this, much as it pains me. With the weight of classes I'm taking this semester, and having already over commited a bit on RPGs, i don't know how often I'd be able to play, and i wouldn't want to throw a monkey wrench in things once its started
Okay, I think I'm finally finished making the character sheet. No, it doesn't have macros to auto generate your stats or give you your skills/talents from your chosen career. So I'll have to read each character sheet to make sure everything is in order. It's not that I don't trust you guys, I'd just prefer to find and address any mistakes before the game gets underway instead of wasting game time going back and fixing things. The new character sheet is in a Microsoft Word format, so there shouldn't be any issues with any of you not being able to view/edit your own characters. Just remember to do "save as" when you save your character. There will be stabbings if I have to type this up again. Also, I'll start converting the character sheets I have for you guys tomorrow when I get my new monitor. I'll be damned if I try that on one monitor.
As soon as the bear can learn his words and work out what goes where on those unintelligible sheets, those with submitted back stories can get started. Ill probably be around for a while this weekend and the next, but after that its a crap shoot.
I'll start converting character sheets when I wake up. I just did a lot of cleaning and rearranging since my new monitor came in, and I'm fucking exhausted. It seems like Flessar wants to kick things off this weekend if possible, so everyone should check in on here so we can see who is available.
