Talk about different features, testing weapons and in-game equipment. Which Flashbang can not only stun/blind/deafen you but give you a tan? Ask Santa. Which rifle scope is going to let you make that 2200m shot on the first try? You're kidding, right? That's a lot of math. Just how far away do you have to be from a Satchel Charge before you can officially say you're 'Safe'? I'm sure this's far enough. No. We're good. Quit running, you chicken.
AGM scope adjustment. Testing with the M200, the MAR-10, and the SR-25 got me some interesting data. M200+LRPS @ 1000m (Virtual) zeroed at 8.5. MAR-10+LRPS @1000m (Virtual) zeroed at 8.7. MAR-10+LRPS/Suppressed @1000m (Virtual) zeroed at 7.0 (-ish. The rifle is 'flinchy' and tends to be unstable even when on a bipod) SR-25+LRPS @1000m (Virtual) zeroed at.. 13.5. 1000m is outside of this weapons range, apparently. The first round bounced off of the targets chin. The second bounced off of an unarmored torso. And you read the MAR-10/Suppressed entry correctly. There is a significant increase in velocity when it is suppressed. Longer barrel. That's real-science, folks. Not game-balancing "suppressed = less damage because it's unfair" bullshit. http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=6302 Not a complete list. Just some initial tests to get a feel for the AGM dialed scopes.
Silencers inhibit travel velocities depending on how they are made. And depending on how the weapon is grooved in the rifling process, a longer barrel could be a disadvantage as well. Its a combination of items, not a correlation of causation due to the silencer on a weapon. But people are people and we know they are all dumb. Just look at bear, he isn't a people, and he is still smarter then at least 10% of them. The glue eating, window licking ones, but still.
