    The move is behind me, I've finally gotten most of my unpacking done, and my internet works better than ever; I feel a party is in order!

    Now I know we all have different tastes, but I would really like to get a big group event going this Saturday. To make it easy for everyone to join, the game needs to be free to play and needs to accommodate everyone. So with that in mind, I am inviting everyone to join us for some big fun casual games of Custom Battles in War Thunder!
    But what if you don't play much or don't have stuff unlocked? No problem! Join us anyway! :viking:​

    The event will focus on maximizing fun:
    • All modes will be limited to 1.7 Battle Rating (all low tier stuff that is easy to get).
    • Game settings will be novice-friendly, but with slightly more realism than Arcade (ex. limited ammo, limited fuel, limited marker distances, etc.).
    • All battles will have up to 64 bots on the field to keep things lively!
    • Matches will be up to 20 minutes long, but with unlimited respawns!
    To make the occasion even sweeter, I will also be introducing our first ever...​

    At the end of every match, there will be a random drawing for all participating Skjaldborg members.

    EACH DRAWING WILL AWARD 150 GOLD EAGLES TO ONE OF YOU!

    Consider this as my way of saying thank you to all of you for sticking around... but also as a promise for things to come!

    Event Schedule:
    • 1300 EST = 1st Half Start (for our Euro crowd)
    • 1530 EST = Break for food
    • 1930 EST = 2nd Half Start
    • 2200 EST = End of event
    Can't make it to this event! Let us know! If we get enough enthusiasm for this, we will do this again!
