    I'd love to have a go at making my own mead, or trying Kombucha even though everyone says it tastes like Beer-Vinegar-Tea. Done a couple homebrew cider kit things :) weren't too bad

    Anyway, is the food really as terrible in the UK as popular media might suggest? I mean I'm sure you have other culture foodstuffs at this point, but like, what do you consider 'British' food anyway? XD (yes, apparently I am capable of insulting an entire chain of islands ^.^) I've always heard that the food was pretty bland.

    It's not bad if it's cooked right, and if people use seasoning english fare is pretty standard, meat, potato product, other veggies. The scottish deep-fry anything, and ireland eat nothing but potatoes with every meal. There's a massive mix of other cultures though so we have a lot of really good food available to us :) but the brittish standards like fish and chips, bangers and mash, Yorkshire puddings and roast beef and stuff, just needs to be cooked properly and its good

    Yeah we use a lot less salt and sugar, and preservatives in general i feel. Apart from takeaways. Lord knows what's in those

    So the Scottish are southerners. Got it. Also there is a single English where I live that is actually pretty good. I think the Arsenal fan club here meets there for game watching.
