In a few sentences, how would you describe yourself to us?
I'm a twice-married, 34-year-old male who works in Publishing. I'm step-father to two fantastic girls, one of whom is also into WF. I'm an incredibly level-headed person, and don't typically get angry or upset, and instead always try to find compromise to resolve issues.

In a few sentences, how would you describe your gaming habits?
I consider myself a "Filthy Casual" since as a family man, I can't dedicate too much time to grinding or farming the newest content. If I'm able to squeeze out 3-4 hours a week, it's been a good week.

What are you looking for from this community?
I'm trying to find my "Goldilocks" clan that is active enough to help me succeed, without being overly critical of my casual habits. Sometimes I'm very active, and other times I am not. I am hoping not to be punished because I've had to take a couple weeks off and missed the "big clan event".

How did you hear about the Skjaldborg?
I am IRL friends with a clan member who is also a co-worker. Our two topics of conversation are either Warframe or music. When I told him I was leaving my other friend's clan (he has had a life change, and isn't playing much anymore) my co-worker recommended that I apply to Skjaldborg.

What do you feel you will bring to the community?
I don't want to over promise here. I don't know how much I will actually contribute to such a large, well-established clan. I have no interest in drama or toxic gaming, and will absolutely not bring those with me. I just want to post a bit on Discord, show off my new fashion frame, and play some missions. I have zero aspirations for advancement in the clan.

On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being very casual, and 10 being very hardcore what is your ATTITUDE?
I'd put myself around a 3. My casual nature is sometimes overtaken by the need to put 6 forma into a weapon in a single sitting so I can get that perfect build.

How many hours per week do you estimate you play online games?
3-4 is a good week

What time zone do you normally game in?
Pacific Standard Time and Pacific Daylight Time depending on the time of year

I think I do some pretty decent Fashion Frame.

I like playing all roles. I'm not super picky.

Do you prefer heavy roleplay or more casual story interaction?
It depends on the gaming setting. I'm a D&D player who prefers RP, but I don't typically RP in online games.

 

Can you juggle?

 

I can. Not well though.

 

Color: Cyan, because it was the name of the game developer of my first PC game: Myst. Not really, that's just coincidence, but I do like the color.

Frames: I like not dying. Those frames are all quite good at not dying. I typically enjoy frames with good CC abilities. Trinity is in there because I enjoy both her EV and Blessing builds.

I have extensive musical taste that extends from the eccentric, to the obscure. Incidentally I just did a playlist exchange with a friend in which we tried to encompass our entire musical taste with as few songs as possible. Hmmm, this is a hard one. I used to play Heroes of the Storm quite a bit. Followed some streamers. I still think it's a fun game, just don't play anymore.

PBS Idea Channel, Numberphile, The Good Stuff. I still go back to these YouTube channels periodically but don't follow them anymore. They are fantastic.

Do you have any hobbies outside of videogames? if so, what are they?

 

My current D&D character is named Wimbledon Bumblebrush, and he is a Halfling Divination Wizard, and Scribe of Candlekeep who was asked to go on a "special mission" to locate the diaries of D'rizzt D'ourdan by the Candlekeep Librarians (because of his frequent accidental destruction of things), when he and his companions were pulled into Barovia by Strahd.

He specializes in Divination Magic, and his favorite spell is Message.

 

I play several stringed instruments, piano, and I sing. I have an almost-too-big ego about my Karaoke skills. I know at least 9 ways to throw a frisbee so that it actually hits a target. I run a local community which focuses on facilitating D&D and other TTRPGs in our community and online called Rogue Valley Tabletop. I do some work for a startup called Zoozil (we are doing a kickstarter right now). And I dabble in Python programming.

 

Are you a Battletech fan?

 

I'm an independent voter, I need to wait for the 'Great Old One' debates before I decide. I feel like Cthulhu has an advantage in the popular vote with his name recognition, but the Kraken is used pulling things out when it is below its opponent.
