I would like to setup some time to play with borg members there have been a few changes to ST:BC #1 the requirement of VR has been removed, anybody can buy it and play with us. #2 the next generation DLC is released, it plays differently than the other ships, ops is "different" with people to control and move through the ship, giving different advantages to the components, like in weapons, they allow focus fireing, in torpedo's the ship rearms faster, in scanning, they show cloaked ships. weapon control, torps can be set to manual fire, which shoot in a direct line, then explode aoe style, to hit cloaked ships. #3 more missions for both DLC and non DLC members, more than just go here scann the thing, you sometimes get side missions, and even other times the BORG attack. I've been wanting to play with people, I have no issue being captain if others want to play other position, just hit me up
I remember us trying to get Artemis to be a thing, but what happened with that? I seem to recall there being issues getting everyone to connect to the server. Is that right? I'm assuming this is way more polished than Artemis was.
Watched Artemis at dragoncon but they had it as lan setup which is probably way easier than over the internet. I would imagine star trek to be better at internet connections though.
It uses steam, and uplay accounts, just launch the game, who ever is "host" invites everybody done. up to 4 players only though.
I think the problem with Artemis was there wasn't "much" to do. anybody in the commmunication role didn't get to do much and once you "fought" the computer, you were done. There was some talk of ship vs ship combat, but that went out the window real quick, because we don't like to pvp ourselves, and cause rifts.
