Disney and HBO are starting up a streaming service like Netflix, the newer high profile IPs are already slated to be only on these services.
I have no doubt Disney will succeed because they're fucking Disney, I hope HBO burns in the acidic wastes left over from the fall of the video rental industry. Personally every single one of these services that crops up with 'exclusive content' are a cancerous growth spewing from the pestilent filth that is spawning from the slow death of localized media services. Recognize them for what they are, and don't give them anything to grow on until they quit trying to murder IP's with their incessant greed. Honestly this is the kind of shit that makes me want to actively pirate their services and broadcast them for free because they're gouging for way more than their services are worth simply on the principle that 'well, you can't watch it anywhere else, so fuck you'.
