Anyone else spend way too much money on the Steam summer sale? I picked up Civ V and all the dlc/expansions, along with a few games for my son, a little over $80 in all and that was only on the second day of the sale
I've picked up Legend of Grimrock and the Alan Wake franchise pack so far. Am going to keep my eye on the flash sales that happen ever 8 hours as well as the daily deals just in case other games come up that I want to play but didn't want to spend a lot of money on. I love the Steam Summer Sale for this very reason.
I am still holding out, not really seen anything i really wanted, well maybe the flash sale for Bloodbowl... But who knows what will come tomorrow.
Havn't seen anything I want yet, but there's a few titles that I will consider buying if they go on sale.
My wallet must hate me... I've already picked up: Shogun 2, Terraria, Batman: Arkham City, Cave Story, Penumbra Collector's Edition and SpaceChem. I'm sure I'll be getting more as the sales keep getting posted, but I'm not sure when I'll have time to play all of these games First world problems I suppose, Haha
This right here is what has kept me from buying anything thus far. Should finally get around to picking mine up tomorrow. I could justify a few bucks on the sale, but I don't want to spend a hefty chunk of change. Edit: Although, looking that Legend of Grimrock is back down to 60% off for the next 6 hours I think I'll buy that here in a little bit.
Haven't even gotten around to playing the last few games I bought on steam. Such a shame too, I hear Arkham Asylum is excellent. I probably won't purchase anything since I know that MWO will be available soon.
Well, I bought Grimrock. No buyer's remorse is going to set in at picking that up for $6. I think that'll probably be it for me unless something quite unexpected comes along.
Ended up grabbing the Denmark and Explorers DLC for Civ V for $1.86. How can you pass up a bargain like that? Viking civilization....HERE I COME!!! RAWR!
