My roomie plays. I played it during a couple of the betas, but none of the classes really jive with me so I didn't pick it up. Sucks too because I love action MMOs.
I tried one of the betas with a lancer and couldnt understand how it didnt collapse whenever I stabbed things.... and just didnt care for it. The combat as far as I got didn't really come off as any more active than previous active combat mmo's. Ill hold out for Guild Wars 2 even though they kicked me out of betas when prepurchase betas started xD
By p2p i meant pay to play, i have no problem with peer to peer but i dont like to pay for a game every month.
Yeah I'm not paying money to buy a game and then more money each month for a subscription. That and I really hate the art-style.
This just in, it's now F2P. Expect heavy queuing though. We're having a guild going on the EU side (http://www.tera-europe.com) on the Fraya server. Just a note US/EU are not compatible. But it's not IP locked.
Estimated 30 mins left now! I usually tend to try most mmorpgs when they release but Tera just didn't interest me at all. The korean artstyle and, from the looks of it, rather generic quests turned me off big time. That said no harm in giving it a go now that it's free to play. If I ever get in that is...
