I believe someone mentioned earlier that the NDA had been lifted on this game, so you should be safe.
I'm gonna give it a shot. I in no way see this ever becoming a game branch, but I've had fun with it. Dragon Knight with a bow, swap out to tanking for pve I'm thinking
Interesting reading here. I'll probably follow Don's example and try the basic package with first month free to see what it's like. I had an invite to the beta weekend but too much to do so I missed out.
Think taking the same approach, I have a a feeling the game will become more interesting at higher lvls
I'm thinking a Nord Templar with a big two-handed weapon, some heavy armor and some healing abilities would be right up my alley.
I can haz pew pewz? I made a few different characters, but I think it'll be most likely that I use my nord nightblade. I've always been about archery in the elder scrolls games. Though I do have a nord dragonknight using dual wielding that I was enjoying too.
So iv taken another crack at things, the game is growing on me. But the bugs are endemic. Every time I interact with a merchant or crafting station i get stuck and have to either relog or wait 5ish min to move again.
I'll repeat what I said before: Melee is fine for PVE, do not do Melee in PVP tho you will be crushed in about 1 second and not find it enjoyable at all. Tried it again today with my lvl 15 nightblade that waltz through PVE mobs, nope nope nope. Will have to work on my bow skills now that I can swap weapons if I want to ever PVP again.
that sounds like a major flaw if it holds true throughout, but it'd be tough to know how well it'll remain true in the higher levels.
Yeah from what I've played so far the Dragon Knight's got plenty of roots and grabs, but it needs more movement buff/charge type ability for melee to work pvp.
Try a Nightblade with destruction staff, it's deliciously devious. If I pick up the Imperial edition, I'll roll a Breton Nightblade rDPS, if I get standard I'll roll a Dunmer Nightblade rDPS, that way I can be Pact with you guys.
Argonian swim speed buff seems like a nice "haha, fuck you" ability. Also, stupid swimming on surface only stuff
