Ok so I have this graphics card right now

Its been a while since I've looked into computer tech items, and I'm not sure if my motherboard will limit me to what kind of graphics card I can get. So here is the motherboard I have, I know its stone age already lol.

I kind of have a budget since I've signed up for personal trainer sessions at the gym. If all goes well with that from now to the beginning of summer I'll go from 262 to 215. So yeah I would say price range for a new card would be around 100-150.

You should also make sure you have a good enough power supply to run that GPU.

I had been all set to finally upgrade my card once mwo launched but since I'm able to manage a workable frame rate on my current very old nvida card I'm holding out to see what happens when the new gtx 700 series start coming out in the first and second quarters. I'm hoping I can make the jump to a nice 670 or 680 card for a decent price when they drop in price after being replaced as the flagship line.

I would upgrade the motherboard, CPU, RAM and gpu all at the same time if at all possible. A GTX 660 is a heck of a card, but I'm not certain it would be the best thing to do given the rest of your rig. A GTX 460 will give fair results and match the remainder of your rig age wise, might even be able to get one dirt cheap because of how old they are.

Basically you want a socket 1155 motherboard, 8gb of DDR 3 RAM (corsair vengence) an i5 2500K CPU and a GTX 460 really as a baseline for gaming. At this point you'll have the backbone of a system which will run any game past or present well, and you will have options for future expansion easily.
