This was the only TW series that I didn't like. Just could not get into it at all. Loved the Medieval TW series though. All those great expansions and mods for the game made it replay-able for years and years. I will give R:TW2 a look at though just in case it does change a lot of the things I didn't like about the first.
Rome: Where shanking a dude is serious business. On topic, looking forward to this, considering I still play the first Rome: Total War (granted, it's the only Total War game I actually have )
Rome Total War was my favorite as well! Can't wait! hmmm now I think I'll go play some Rome total war....
TW is a game that on concept I should absolutely love, but for some reason I always get bored real quick...
I got bored REALLY quick with Shogun 2. I think because of the small size of the island, and the fact that every game is practically identical. It didn't have the variety of say, Medieval 2, which I could play forever.
Shogun was a disappointment, not enough variety for me. Rome was interesting but Medieval was the best by far. However this does look interesting.
Rome was the best, how could you not like units whose sole purpose was to chuck decapitated heads at the enemy in order to route them!?
RTW was what got me into PC gaming. I put countless hours into the game, modded with RTR. Can't wait to be an armchair general again!
