So my current tour in Iraq is coming to an end and my company booked my tickets so I have a 12 hour layover in Dubai and an 8 hour layover in Amsterdam. I already know what I'm doing in Dubai but it's been years since I was in Amsterdam and I can't remember most of those trips.

I would like some suggestions on where to go. I land at 6am, and leave at 230pm. Money/Morales are not an issue.

find a abandoned Ferrari or lambo which there are lots of in Dubai because of the amount of rich asshole oil turds in that city.

and im sure you can guess where you can go from there.

I was thinking about this and...

you specifically said morales are not an issue.

Try human trafficking, owning some human slaves, even sex slaves. Use forced labor to build you a castle. Get into the exciting world of contraband trading. Do human experiments with chemicals and microbes. Play combat chess with real human chess pieces. Get creative!

One of my favorites if money and morale are not an issue is to have a whole bunch of human slaves, give them no weapons and set them in a gigantic maze and then tell them that if they manage to kill me they can go free. Then I go in with some primitive weapons and pretend that they're zombies.

Which reminds me of one of the most epic things of all - go fight an actual bear.


But instead of boxing gloves, something like a spear and a knife or so.

Morals not morales

 

That's rite!

 

Every time I typed morals into my phone was auto correcting to morales so I let it stay thinking my phone was slightly better at grammar than me.

So I have an evening planned in Dubai, but what should I do when I get to Amsterdam. I really only have about 5 hours there because I want to be back at the airport in plenty of time and don't miss my flight. Not that I really want to go back to Chicago, but there's worse places to be.

Also I am not saying I partake in human trafficking, especially since I have quarterly training about it, but I am not saying I do not enjoy the end product on occasion.

Don't we have some Dutch guys here? They should have some idea of what to do.

 

I just assumed he was referring to the president of Bolivia. Not sure why that would be relevant, but meh

 

So I should have left Iraq today but my travel plans have been put on hold for at least a week. My replacement decided to not show up to the mandatory pre-deployment training and I have been extended until he does show up. On the plus side, I am getting paid extra for every day past my normal rotation that I spend out here.
