I don't know a lot about it, but something to put on our radar:
    • Up to 10 player co-op!
    • Procedural worlds to explore.
    • Something like Gauntlet mixed with some light base building and crafting elements as far as I can tell.
    • Available on PC for 2021

I like the idea of a Viking game (can't wait for Assassin's Creed Valhalla this winter), and this one does look interesting with it being up to 10 players.

Oh hey bud. It's been awhile. Yeah, to be clear I have next to no knowledge about the game, but will be keeping an eye on it as it gets closer to launch. Hopefully it works out well.

bump. We talked about this at the last meeting. Seems to be looking pretty good. Barring any serious problems revealed, I will probably pick this up this week. However, I have heard it had a rough launch, so I recommend waiting to buy this until some of us willing to risk cash get some hands on experience with it.

Its pretty damn good. Round times are long but you can basically walk away as a party at any time and come back w/o progress loss.
    good beat em up.

I think this might be a great weekly game, just get together and roll however deep into a campaign as we can manage and call it a week.

it's a little more sword and sorcery than Valheim, a little less up front action. Building is a little less in depth and combat is a little more 'epic'

Valheim was more "minecraft-like". Tribes of Midgard is more "Don't Starve" with some tower defense mechanics mixed in.

Also, just for some perspective for everyone, Valheim was exactly what we expected it to be; a great game, but unfinished. It never fizzled. We went through all the content and then consciously took a break from it. As far as I'm concerned, we are still 100% committed to coming back to it when the game makes bigger strides in development. Same for Avorion, but Avorion is coming close to its big 2.0 release, so returning to that in earnest in the near future is certainly a possibility.
