Damn good game. Had a blast running with Cerlin and the crew. Beaning germans with a trench club as a Canadian is always satisfying.
Interesting read i came across today. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rsenic-unexploded-shells-grows-100-years.html
I've had a little time to put in here and there, and I'd have to say I rather enjoy the Waffenspezialist (Seitengewehr-fechter) or Alpenjager Aufklarer quite a bit. Cause jabbing people with a bayonet is good shit. Especially when you kill a guy, then jump into a crater and kill 3 more while they freak the fuck out The Sturmmann would be my second favorite
Yeah, Verdun was pretty much hell on earth. The Somme was about the same, a bit less pure destruction of the countryside perhaps, but terrible loss of life. Ypres was pretty bad, too, just from the shelling turning everything into a morass of quicksand.
If you're interested in the history Dan Carlin just finished his WWI series. He does these really fascinating long-format podcasts and is one of those guys who does a really good job making history relevant even if you're not otherwise very interested in the subject.
