https://www.fig.co/campaigns/wasteland-3/#about sounds like some great upgrades and improvements over 2. i really enjoyed the combat and character building in 2 but was super-underwhelmed by the main story. so underwhelmed that i had a hard time finding interest to go back and replay it much. it appears they're upping the ante in that regard, and it looks a lot better if nothing else!
I got a $5 coupon for being a previous WS2 backer, so I picked this up for $17 bucks... I agree on Wasteland 2, the story was a bit meh. I played it before the enhanced edition came out, maybe I should give it another go. This one won't come out until the end of 2019 apparently.
