Any way to make the taboo topics not show up on the 'What's New' feed button in the top menu bar as well as the right hand stuff? Its segregated and hidden for a reason, it would be better in my opinion to not have it show up along with all the other merc/mwo related stuff.
The Taboo forum is not actually a hidden permission-only section like the NSFW, and I didn't see a way to segregate that from posts in other sections. The What's New simply reads the activity log and reposts that. The only idea I can see would be to make the Taboo forum a permissions-only section, in which case it would not show up on the public view or What's New unless you are given permission by a Mod or Admin for that forum.
Which may actually work well, because then for people who can't follow the rules of Taboo, they lose access.
That would also hide if from the public, and allow people not interested in it to op out so to speak. That is pretty common on a lot of forums. Generally just make it a requested access forum.
Yeah, I actually thought that the Taboo section was already requested access. Well then. I support this idea
I guess I will never see it as I only use 'new posts' to catch up on things. I suppose I'll live though.
Okay, Taboo forum is tied in with NSFW forum. Posts from those forums will only show up in "What's New" if you have been given permission to view them. Damien you can always request access from me if you wish to keep up with Taboo topics.
