Where should I be looking for used parts?

Are there any better 1156 motherboards I should be looking into?

Is there something better performing in the gtx 600 series than the evga 680 classified card I should be looking for?

I'm hunting for two things at the moment but having a hard time coming up with places to watch for them at decent prices.
EVGA P55 Classified 200 motherboard (failing that or at a decent price the P55 FTW 200 or the P55 FTW or even the P55 SLI board)
    and
EVGA gtx 680 Classified (early production that is compatible with EVBOT to allow for more overclocking)

I have an i7 with water cooler on one of the first performance 1156 motherboards but it doesn't have anything past I want to say a 2x pcie slot so it would be nice to get something released towards the end of the performance era for the 1156 processor to let me run it for as long as I can in this last build before eventually moving on up in a couple of years when I can afford a full build.
I'm also sitting on a watercooling setup for a gtx 600 series card or I'd be looking at a gtx770. The evga 680 classified seems to be the king of the 600 series, but is there something out there I'm missing? I figure the 4gb gtx 680 is my best option since I'm finally trying to move to triple monitors in surround.

This was all I could think of off hand:

It doesn't look like there are a lot of P55 mb left out there. You might be able to turn up more by looking through ebay, but there is probably going to be a premium on them just due to aged-based scarcity.

Also, why insist on a geforce 600 series? The 770 is an overclocked 680 which sells for slightly less (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-770-gk104-review,3519.html). As far as I can tell, the only difference is that the 680 does have models with more graphics memory, but the 770 starts at $399. The EVGA site does still have the 680 classified on sale ($419 after rebate), and that seems like it's the best price for that card at the moment. Amazon is charging $600 for it.
