A great expand-alone for The New Order, covers an earlier period in The New Order timeline in 1946. The story is slightly less heavy than The New Order, though there is a sense of impending doom, given that you know the Nazis win. there are a couple sections that drag, and there's a frankly awful vehicle section, but other than that its a great addition. I clocked in at about 5 hours. I highly recommend it to fans of The New Order, great voice acting and I dug the story (it sort-of retells the story from the 2009 Raven reboot). There are some great, fairly emotional moments, and great dialogue delivered by whatever genius does the voice for BJ Blazkowicz.
I'll pick up the bundle tomorrow. I've heard only good things about The New Order. Pleasant surprise for an old-school shooter as far I've understood. And I haven't spoiled any of the story so I think it should be rather entertaining.
The New Order is fantastic. Though get ready because the story is super dark, and extremely well told. Honestly how seriously they took the world-building and storytelling elements blew me away.
IMO, it is totally worth full price. I don't regret spending $60 on or at all. By far my favorite shooter in recent memory.
Can agree on that. Finished The New Order yesterday and started new playthrough today. It's very entertaining. Definitely one of the better FPS's in recent memory, both gameplay and story wise.
