Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition just got released for Steam earlier this year. There is HUNDREDS of hours of content there. It was made when Bioware was at the top of its game. Unfortunately, most of us missed the sale for it. That being said, Neverwinter Nights 2 also exists (just not on Steam, get the "Complete Edition" on GoG) and is much cheaper. Credit to Alexia for pointing this one out. My memory is fuzzy, but I think the two games have more in common than differences. Both are incredible games that allow for us all to play together in large groups. I know we have Balder's Gate 3 around the corner and we have yet to play Divinity: OS2 or the Remastered Diablo 2, but anyone interested in one of these classics? Maybe we should vote on it. Personally I'm down for NWN 1/2, and Diablo. They all support groups our size. I would note that NWN is going to be a slow burn, since it's a true CRPG. Don't expect to finish even the first campaign inside of a year of weekly groups.
There is also Pillars of Eternity, my personal favorite is Icewind Dale. It was designed more as a group oriented RPG instead of a single RPG like NWN (yes it allows multiplayer, but it was not actually designed for it, you learn this really quickly when everyone gets the same dialogue regardless of who's the main player or not.)
