Restarted server.

Added new music to the server, but it looks like everyone still needs the files..

Server updated to v.AngryKoala (I'm sensing a theme).

This one is big. Adds a TON of features. Especially one we've all wanted.

 

Did you make a new universe?

 

Didn't have a choice in the matter. The server client crashed every time I tried to load the old universe. Planets and seeds are all the same, but the features/contents of each planet have been dramatically altered.

Rasalhague is still there and planet IV (I think) is awesome. Snow + Magma on the surface and a high-tech dungeon at the spawn.

 

New patch does some interesting things. :O

I'm waiting for the final character wipe before getting back into Starmade. Haven't played it in a while...

 

it is kinda harsh to spend a day building a house, go back the next day poof gone

 

Highlights include what they hope is the final wipe, and viking helmets!!

 

Thanks Haki. Got it (the server) patched right before I passed out this morning.

If it really is the last wipe, I want to start getting a list of mods put together.

Things like new races, items, and crafting.

And yes, if you find a halfway decent one, I'll put a pony race on the server.

Wanted to post some mods that look interesting. I haven't tried all of these, so I'm not vouching for stability or anything. They'd be worth trying in a local game first.

The Avali Race, A non-humanoid race that look kind of neat. They're supposed to have unique racial armor, and use invisible textures to hide default armors, same as the pony mod.

The character race extender, avali race, and variety mod all play nice with each other. Matter Manipulators+ doesn't work with the current version, but it should get updated.
