no objections here. the mod doesn't detract from vanilla gameplay and only enhances quality of life issues. go for it.
Checked it on single player. The mod seems to work fine. But now that I look at it, I have no idea how to actually get that mod on the server. Can you take a look at it, Magnus?
its done through the overseer dashboard with bluefang. when you get on TS, we can go through it together.
any tips for those of us just starting out with the game? at the minimum anything to avoid doing early on?
Roll a floran. Florans are the besssst, everything else is lunch ;-) Seriously though, if you have any experience with terraria or minecraft it will take you very little time to adapt. You can't really tank damage so make sure to dodge, basic platforming experience should be enough for this. Craft armor, find weapons. Consumables should be very easy to find and craft, just make a bunch of bandages and you will be very hard to kill. If you don't have a lot of time I suggest playing on casual difficulty, I rerolled the first time I died because I had to deal with RL while mining. It does take away a small amount from the game but it is stuff I'm not keen on anyway (grinding, stress) so I don't much care personally but ymmv. If you are having trouble, walk around on the surface, you should find some chests/equipment to pilfer (I mean borrow, of course!) Oh and cannot stress this enough, do the tutorial mission if you haven't already! Ps: It just occured to me that florans are starbound's take on orcs... Oh well!

I hate to ask, but I have to ask... is there justification for me to keep the server up past another month? I wish there had been time for me to play more, but there is just too much on my plate right now.
