shouldn't it be glorious soviet russia? because we say russian but i think in the game it is actually the whole soviet union.

and I don't see the russian or german stuff either. so it's either a test server or limited players have them.

3 km torp range. wow.

 

you need a modded file (doesn't interfere with gameplay) but it allows you to look at the tech trees (and in port). the german cruisers look really nice. and yeah the russian torps are really fast but have crap for range. don't even to 5 km till tier 4 and then its 4 km after that till tier 9. but speeds of torps are 65 kph or higher. and starting at tier 5 they all have 130mm guns. they don't get any larger.

what did the navies use for gun range? because everything else is in knots. which is a measurement of distance. but here they seem to only be using as a measurement of speed.

i guess it was never used for distance just speed. so would navies have used whatever their unit of measurement for distance was for the range?

 

nautical miles, or kilometers, depending on the navy I would guess.

 

guess they did (or are) revamping the matchmaking so you are only supposed to face ships at least 1 tier above you but not more than 1 tier. it's not going to work that way. when has it ever worked?

As per the latest patch, the battle-tier difference is now more fluent across all Tiers and classes. Now, cruisers, destroyers, aircraft carriers and even battleships on lower Tiers will have to face off against opponents that are only one Tier higher. A significant change, if we dare say so ourselves! Tier IV and V Aircraft carriers will only face opponents, at most, one Tier stronger – the same goes for Tier III and IV battleships also, for example. Also, note that Premium ships have their own matchmaking table, as you can see from the picture below.



I bet what will happen is a tier three will be matched with a tier 4 but that tier 4 could end up dragging a tier 5 in. i think. right? i'm tired.

 

The way I read the chart, is that lower tier BBs and CVs will only be matched up one level, as opposed to two like it currently does. Everything else stays the same. Meaning I'll still continue to be the only tier 4 in at least 1/3 of my cruiser matches

german cruiser line stuff. most of us have probably already seen stuff on them.



and from what i've seen their armor values are actually pretty low. But I think they use a different armor structure or setup. the guns are pretty fast firing and almost all the cruisers have torpedos with a 6 km range.
