    I have a GTX 770, and the game runs just fine on the OR. same with Elite. Haven't been able to get SC running on it, but I think that's a user issue and not a requirements issue. I really think the system requirements people post are a bit overblown, at least for the DK2.

    I'm still not sure how you mind control a xenomorph. They are already under telepathic control. The queens telepathic abilities span across light years. The instant the computer lags or the signal is lost you have a full functional xenomorph...who is probably pissed right off. In every instance I can think of (as someone who owns all the graphic novels and actual novels) every time a xeno is removed from the queens mind one of two things happens. A: the xeno just dies. B: The xeno picks its head up, realizes it has no controling body inside its mind and goes on a rampage that would make a house wife from new jersy proud. I dunno, just doesn't seem like an alien species I would want to tame.

    Ripley and Hicks were right.

    If I recall the novels correctly, the queens are extremely intelligent, even sentient. You might be able to bribe one to loan you a few drones. If, of course, you could trust them not to turn on you first chance they got.

    might be able to surgically remove or alter whatever the biological "receiver" is for the queen's signal and implant your own, too.

    In Earth Hive after a division sized raid on San Francisco they capture a queen who has like a 190 IQ, so yeah they are pretty smart. Not real sure you could just "remove" the part the gets the queens signal. The queens have the ability to talk to humans telepathically (or at least influence them) so you would probably need to remove the entire brain to keep her from fucking with something.
