Comes out the 12th. There is co-op and multiplayer available. Quite tempted to pick it up through steam
I always thought Alien 3 was very a good movie, It got slated by the critics, twats!!. Anyone else like Alien 3 It is a solid movie. Oh by the i have getting the game to.
ALL the alien films were good. When it went wrong is when they started the AVP crap and made it hollywoodised and family viewing. I am not so sure about this game however. The last one was awful. I cannot see why they can't just get AVP gold, give it new graphics and sort it and it would be nigh on perfect.
The sounds are what make it in an alien game, being such an iconic film, if it doesn't sound right the game is automatically gimped.
All the Alien movies were good except Alien Resurrection. Letting Jean-Pierre Jeunet direct that movie really ruined it. He tried to make it more like his French movies than a real Alien action movie. Don't get me wrong, I loved City of Lost Children and Delicatessen, but Alien movies are meant to be action and gore, not surreal and cerebral. Oh, and I'll probably wait for the reviews for this game before buying. While I loved AvP, I'm leary about this one as they really fucked up the previous game that attempted to do what they are trying to do with Colonial Marines.
alien 3 pissed me off because of the whole mentality of "no one survives the aliens... not even badasses and little kids with cool names". oh but wait... except in the third movie one random jackoff TOTALLY did! it just felt like a cheap shot after the ending in the 2nd movie. everything else about it didn't bother me though. --- okay good. if you are all getting it, i definitely am. hell... might even pre-order... in spite of my better judgement. god, i hope it is better than the last AvP
Alien 1 - Classic horror Aliens - Classis action horror. One my fav movies ever. Alien 3 - Good movie Alien Resurrection - Hate it. Hate it so much. I'm still thinking about getting Colonial Marines. Been some time since I last played a good Alien game.
Alien Resurrection had the wrong writer and director, I like Josh weedon but his style was not suited to the aliens story.
