WOOT I am hoping to get something together this weekend. Lets get as many people as we can online and get some super duper Arma action going.
AI mods, none that I know of. the mods we are running are on the 1st post. Also, as a reminder we will be trying to get together this afternoon for some Arma goodness. If you can be there, please do, the more people we can get the better.
well home at last, downloaded and tested the game, currently downloading the mod pack and speed of sound over night to finally get to play with you guys. Last week I came across an AI mod that worked to help with direction as well as accuracy and suppression but now going back I can't find it on armaholic, oh well.
Server updated and tested with current MCC Sandbox mission. No Zeus in this one yet since it's not included on the MCC mission and conflicts with current mods. AI Suppression mod has been in for a while, but I'm not sure it's working correctly. I may be re-organizing the mods to streamline things and get them closer to what the 'pros' use.
So. I have convinced myself, through no fact checking or basis in reality whatsoever, that Arma could very well be a good way to prepare for FPS in SC. I clicked the link for free Arma 2 but it apparently has been discontinued. Thus I inquire, after having skimmed the thread, what do I really need beyond Arma 3 itself to get involved with you folks? I see mentions of mod packs but a complied list with the latest current ones would be handy.
This made me so happy. To answer your question, we really just need to work out a more regular schedule of play. I have always had a blast when we have played, but, as a group, we haven't been as enthusiastic about the organizational details.
I agree Don, if we had a dedicated time of the week we were all on and ready to do Arma.. I would absolutely be up for it. I nominate Don.

MODPACK UPDATED Removed MCC (Map on the server has MCC) Updated XMedSys and CBA See OP for link and launch string. We are testing XMedSys, if there are too many issues we will remove it. I still need to update CBA on the server.
So Gihz, Varg, don't be alarmed, but the next time you log on there may be civilians running around on fire. And screaming. And more vehicles than the Russians sent out in WW2. This is why we can't have nice things!
for any of you that were holding off or scared of the seemingly steep learning curve, you really should give it a try! I think Skwi managed to last about 15 min sitting in the channel listening to the mission before pulling the trigger himself. We had a blast with a number of missions yesterday, I can safely say we were horribly outnumbered at all times and we were having a blast.
yes we were slaughtered by the AI but it was fun. Atleast fun enough to keep playing from 22:00 (Gmt+1) to 05:00.
