Ugh, the fiancee wants me to go see "The Vow" tonite
Right before Valentine's day some channel was running a 48 hour romantic comedy marathon. She sat there and watched 3 or 4 -terrible- movies back to back to back, and got upset when I went to pick up a book as soon as the 3rd started. "You don't want to hang out with me?" "Oh no, I am hanging out with you...and a book." I figured that my sanity was worth her annoyance. Seriously, who the hell can subject themselves to that garbage for three movies straight?
I grew up with an older sister and a single mother. The way I dealt with shitty romance movies was by telling them how the movie would end five minutes in.
anything with "The Rock", or anyone who ever had anything to do with the "blue collar comedy tour" stuff
Shame on you. The Rock was in Fast Five. Then again, you're a real world car lover and most actual car people I know HATE the Fast and Furious movies.
Yeah, the F&F series of movies made me scream at the screen asking "WTF are you talking about?!?!" , and "Physics doesnt work that way!!" and stuff.
Hahaha. Gotta love the random word potpourri screenwriters make characters say when they are writing about something they don't have any experience with.
Well, lets put it this way...even the authors of the book for which the movie was based on said the director pretty much missed the entire point of the movie/cut it out on purpose.
Here's some horrible movies you all need to watch, because it pertains to our beloved genre. Go watch Robot Jox, and then Robot Wars.
Robot Wars were amazing as most of the movies starring Reb Brown, i liked them nearly as much as Space Mutiny and Yor: Hunter From the Future
