J Edgar Hovertank is also included on that list as well, probably a few more in addition to that as well but it wouldn't be hard to include some more "faction" specific variants, or common tanks such as the Vedette, Ontos, Rommel, and Von Luckner.

EDIT: They also mentioned infantry as well, they are actively trying to get them working but I am guessing that it will be a no at least for now.

What, no Schrek? No Demolisher? No Myrmidon? No Hetzer? No Harasser, Galleon, Saracen, or Savannah Master?

I think it is 3025 for some reason so a few those vehicles you guys want do not exist yet.

    so no rommel and myrmidon

demolishers would be around. and rommels would be in prototype/field testing since it's production date is 3027. myrmidon is definitely out. and the savannah master went into production in 3025 so apart from the myrmidon everything solis mentioned could be in. though the rommel and savannah master would probably be rare rommel because it's in testing master because it's new. Also savannah masters should stackpole. I never knew they used fusion engines as opposed to conventional. assuming stackpoling will be in.

Unfortunately he fucked up faction availability/production so there's a bunch of stuff listed FWL that should be I.S. general or also produced by the LC, DC, and/or TC (the Hunchback being a prime example).

That is all I needed to know. CH:Inception was really fun, CH:Revenge (inspite of ALL the bugs) is still one of my all time favorites.

I respectively disagree. A lance is the perfect size for a Battletech game IMHO. Anything more than that and you are playing Mechcommander. Which was somewhere between fun and meh.

I really liked the mechcommander series, but I do have to agree that you give up a certain level of control when you start giving orders to more than four mechs.

That being said, I really do love the use of support vehicles in a strictly support fashion. Things like artillery strikes and minelayers that you can give orders to allows for another whole layer of tactical gameplay that you simply can't have with a single lance of mechs.

So I'm super excited about the addition of conventional forces, but also really excited about the smaller scale of combat.

I guess I'm just generally excited.

One of my other favorite games of all time. I would love to see PGI do EXACTLY that with a single player mercenary version of MWO

Well, aren't you a prickly bitch. That would be cool though. I've always wanted more BT games that revolved around the back stories prior to the 3025 plot. Grey Death Legion, Red Corsair, etc.
